Recommended Daily Dosages – Sublingual
What is sublingual administration?
- “Sub” – beneath
- “Lingual” – tongue
Sublingual administration is a particularly easy and efficient method for CBD administration. It’s effectiveness is somewhere between vaping and swallowing CBD. The effect is usually noticed within ~15 minutes.
To sublingually administer Delta products, use the included dropper to administer the required volume beneath the tongue and leave it there for 30-60 seconds. Consult the table below to select the correct Delta product for sublingual administration.
*Suggested dosages are for a 155lb (~70kg) adult.
Correct dosage is as much a matter of practicality as it is about chemistry. We pioneered the “Pure CBD” standard. That is, with every Delta product, you know precisely how many milligrams of CBD are inside—no more, no less.
We developed the above table from empirical observations around consumer use. The real point of our increasing strengths is to make administration of Delta hemp easily fit into your daily routine.
For example, for a medium severity condition, rather than taking 6 dropperfuls of blue strength under the tongue, it is more appropriate to take 1 dropperful of the purple strength.
Of course, new Delta customers often do not know their optimal dosage or administration schedule (number of times a day). Consulting the chart above, we see that mild conditions are best served with green label products. Low to medium cases are best served with gold label products. Severe conditions are best served with purple label products.
It is of particular note that, for sublingual administration, we do not recommend Delta’s blue label line. In fact, the CBD concentration is so low (150mg per 1 fl. oz), that it is only appropriate for vape administration.
Recommended Daily Dosages – Oral (Swallowed)
What do we mean by “oral administration?”
Unlike sublingual administration, when we refer to “oral administration,” we are talking about directly swallowing the allotted amount of Delta CBD. The efficacy of oral administration is not as high as vaping or sublingual methods, but it is still a very viable option for CBD therapy at the correct dosage. To correctly dose Delta CBD that is swallowed, consult the chart below.

We developed the above table from empirical observations around consumer use. The real point of our increasing strengths is to make administration of Delta hemp easily fit into your daily routine.
For example, for a high severity condition, rather than taking 20 dropperfuls of blue strength under the tongue (2/3 of a 1 fl. oz bottle), it is more ap- propriate to swallow 3 dropperfuls of the purple label Delta product.
As with sublingual applications, we see that mild conditions are best served with green label products. Low to medium cases are best served with gold label products. Severe conditions are best served with purple label products.
Again, we do not recommend Delta’s blue label line for oral administration. The CBD concentration is so low (150mg per 1 fl. oz), that it is only appropriate for vape administration.
